Challenges: Controller and Purchase Integration
The team needed to integrate the solution with a physical controller over Bluetooth. Integrating and using the controller SDK required additional research to understand how it interacts with the app, and the connection process consumed extra resources, causing UI delays when the controller was connected.
Another key challenge was synchronising in-app purchases between the admin system and the Google Play/App Store environments. This was difficult because each store uses different APIs, data structures, and validation flows, making it harder to keep purchase data consistent.
